THanks for this...I'm actually looking at housenumbers, so it's a good resource. We might be going with a custom piece, however: 4 2x3' panels of steel with 1 digit cut out of each, rusted to a certain point and then sealed, then mounted on a trans panel to cover the backlighting hardware/bulb, and mounted on a brick wall that will be built in front of the house to complete the front patio area. Big, Huge, Rough numbers - but I really really really like the Neutra font from the 4th link....
Thanks for the list!
Also, check out Chiasso for the Signo numbers and a couple other styles:

There is also a great selection at House Numbers Direct
For example Glass House Numbers: http://www.house-numbers-direct.com/products.php?dep=9&cat=42
Atlas just came out with the PARAGON house numbers...these are amazing... PEEL and STICK ( no screws necessary!) Stainless Raised Numbers...amazing price too. www.atlashomewares.com
we just installed these:

We have a "likler" (looks like an eichler, but alas it is NOT) and we got these fabulous "eichler-like" house numbers <A HREF="http://www.eichlernumbers.com/"> here</A>
We have these cool backlit solar LED numbers. http://matterinc.com/LEDSolarNumber2.htm
If you have a local Orchard Supply check there. I seen some brushed aluminium 6"/8" Helvetica font address numbers fairly inexpensive.
Sorry no online catalog off their site to link to.
We use solar number lights too, and they are great. We always had trouble having delivery guys and gals find our place at night, but not anymore. Plus the solar light aspect of it just makes it look cool and modern.
neutra is my personal favorite.
the matterinc #'s are awesome, but you really need direct sunlight to adequately charge them. if you want to go the led route, mint makes some really nice ones.

i got the GIANT wood ones from the craft store, sanded, spray painted. big and bold. :-)
Also check out Ramsign, they have a huge selection of vitous enamel signs - both house numbers and house signs: www.ramsign.com
There is no way house numbers should cost $45 a piece (let alone $105). I realize we are the "fancy" crowd, but just because we like cool things doesn't mean I should have to blow $225 just to put numbers on my house.
If you like the Neutra numbers but don't want to spent $48 per number (craziness!), check out Home Depot's version: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202051819/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053. Only $5.99 per number. We just bought some last night, and they look great in person. Now we'll have to see how hard they are to mount :).
When you're thinking of house numbers, make sure they can be seen from the street (you can install a small spotlight) in the dark. Once you call 911, for a crime or a heart attack, the EMT's have to be able to see your house number to help you.
Nobody has mentioned the great eBay in the sky. There are usually several hundred French house numbers listed on there, mostly from locations in France and UK. Some cheap repro but plenty genuine vintage vitreous enamel (fused glass) on sheet steel.
