I'm desperately looking for a new bedside tables as the ones I've had for years are crooked and small. Things keep dropping off. I'd love the Lake (above), but it's a bit steep, so I've found a few others that I like. My criteria? I want the table to be solid, boxy, but with light feet so that it has an ample feeling, and with at least two levels of storage. Interested? Read on...

I found this traditional shape bedside table from Wisteria appealing. The dimensions seem right on, it's light on its feet and it's got, count 'em, two drawers.

A classic modern design from BluDot, this solid wood side table, is given a pop of color and a contrasting texture with the powder coated steel drawers below that come in many colors.

This steel frame table from Room and Board comes with almost total customization. Choose your steel and choose your top material, this is a super light on the eyes, but generous solution.

A lovely mid-century update by Habitables, this handmade table ships from Spain.

With an appealingly affordable price, this is a very elegant table that balances a walnut veneer against shiny brass finishes.

A beautiful construction of bronze finished metal and clear glass, I love how the three levels draw the eye in and offer tons of storage at perfect heights.
