As it is, this handmade toy bag is pretty darn cute, but after your child uses it to transport his or her toys, open it up, and:
...you've got a play mat perfect for laying out all of those pieces. Amy's (of Sweet Magoo) sister, Amber, made the bag for Amy's daughter. With a magnetic button closure and straps so it can be worn as a backpack, this is the perfect design for a young child heading off to grandma and grandpa's or a friend's house for some play time.

Shaw's Original Fir...
love this idea!
Love this... I'm in the middle of making something similar, though much (MUCH) larger for my son's lego collection. He likes to dump them out but not pick them up, so I thought this would be the way to have them on the floor but not all over the floor!
Oooh, someone should sell these on etsy for us non-sewers!
Please tell us as SOON as the tutorial is out for this!
prudentbaby.com has a tutorial for a portable tea party that is similar, but not a backpack.
