Since we're celebrating color this month, we have to applaud this fantastic toy box reinvention. What started as a rather plain wooden box was painted and reworked into this cheerful, fun keepsake.

We spotted this at Black Eiffel where New York father Micah Heiselt is contributing some excellent guest posts. The photo above is of the wood box, a gift from his uncle, in its previous state which really helps one appreciate the vision and work that went into the finished project.
