DIY Toy Market Stall

We'll never stop the lovefest for diy play kitchens, but we have a feeling diy play markets are going to be the next big thing - especially after seeing this beauty!

Last year Londoner's Pam and her husband made a lovely play kitchen for their daughters (modeled after this one on Ohdeedoh) and it was such a hit that they decided to up the ante this year with this incredible play market stall.

Like the kitchen, they used some Ikea components (including the Rast table as their base) as well as leftover wood, paint and fabric to complete it - for under £20 (about $32 US)! Not surprisingly Pam reports that her daughters (4 and 3) are "gaga" for it - "now that the new market stall's on the scene they can buy and sell each other all the stuff they're going to cook with."

Well we're gaga for this too! Thanks Pam! You can read more about how this was put together here.

p.s. For another take on a play market, check out Jakob's supermarket.
