Name: Trace & Lisa
Location: Capitol Hill — Seattle, Washington
A ten-minute walk from the heart of downtown Seattle sits the Lewis household. One step inside and you will find a sensory overload in the best way possible. Each nook and cranny is filled with intriguing objects collected by a self-diagnosed shopaholic.
Lisa, an apparel designer by day and undercover interior decorator by night, pulls inspiration straight from the runways. Her favorite trends at the moment are the use of chevron and ikat textures. Everywhere the eye lands are artifacts, prints and patterns mixed together seamlessly. Lisa is also a sucker for a quirky touch. When husband Trace brought home a bear skull his grandfather dug out of the basement, Lisa did not bat an eye. She simply added it to her bedroom nightstand, atop her best fashion magazines.
The home is quaint to put it sweetly but it is the perfect size for the newlywed couple, at least for now. Lisa and Trace plan on starting a family soon so they can pass along their amazing knack and passion for collecting.
