The tradition of a bedroom slipper chair is an elegant but utilitarian seat for dressing. Typically, the chairs are compact and low to the ground so they don't steal space. They're also armless (to allow movement) and upholstered (to avoid runners in the pantyhose).

I have 2 of a MUCH earlier version of the Bianco chair (from the 50's or 60's.) Anybody know what "retro" chair Room and Board based their version on?
I'm not sure nikkicole, but I have a similiar chair in my living room right now too! I bought it on ebay and I'd say its from the 50s or 60s as well. It definitely cost a lot less than the R&B chair :)
