Treasures: Jerid and Jesse's Bedroom Collection

A few weeks ago, when I wrote about Bones & Other Oddities, I was so intrigued by one comment that I asked Jerid, the poster, to send me pictures of his home. He wrote back and said only the bedroom was Apartment Therapy ready at the moment. I can't wait to do a full house tour someday, but for now, here's a peek into Jerid and Jesse's treasure-filled bedroom.

Jerid and Jesse, who live in Portland, share a 1920s house with a Montessori school, a rabbit named Otto Von Rolland, and a handful of the couple's "grrrrrls" — or chickens, to the rest of us. Both are creative types, and their bedroom is a reflection of their amazing offbeat aesthetic and affinity for found objects.

"Most were gifts to one another over the last five years," says Jerid. "A typical date for us would involve a treasure hunt of some kind at an estate sale or an off-the-road/backwoods thrift shop."
