Being that I just turned another year older and bought my first home, I think I may have settled on a new birthday tradition: treat myself to a coveted decor item on my birthday.
Up until now my birthday tradition, that my mom started, was to buy a new outfit on my birthday (which I'm not sure will be given up). Now that I have an entire home to fill out and not a lot of money to do it, I think it would be a good time to up the ante and start putting away a little bit at a time to purchase one exciting item on my birthday each year. Now, it doesn't have to be big or expensive, but something that I wait and save for that will make getting it on that special day all the sweeter. Now, the question is, do I pass up this unprepared year or do I pull the trigger on the FLOR rug
that I really want for the dining room?
Do you have any kind of decor buying traditions?
