This tree grows in Slovenia. Designed by AKSL arhitekti, the small space solution grants access to lofted sleeping quarters as well as a fun climb on the way up.

The uniform cutouts provide an attractive ladder, and the branches in front of the upper bunk function as a safety rail. The Slovenian seaside apartment houses a family of four, who hired AKSL arhitekti to update their flat. The result is airy, modern, and eminently kid-friendly.
