The Concept: The style of "Present & Everlasting" was presented as being "a contemporary interpretation of traditional values and classical design". It is a energetic, current version of classic motifs. High quality of finishes and materials are a given. Many of the items from this earlier Design Direction: Gold for the Tabletop post could fall into the "Present & Everlasting" trend.
The Materials: Gold, bronze, leather, suede, crystal, glass, semi precious stones, marble, ebony and porcelain.
The Motifs: Historical motifs and classical designs are printed, embroidered and painted on pieces. Fine graphic patterns are engraved in a decorative manner on glass.
The Colors: Shown above, left to right: Pantone 485, Pantone 7414, Pantone 465, a warm white, Pantone 4975,Pantone 532.
The Ambiente Trends 2010 exhibit (and excellent accompanying lecture) was produced by the bora.herke.stilburo.

I like the colors. I like the materials being celebrated. I am glad gold is making a comeback from design exile.
I love those teapots. What a cool idea.
