Goodbye winter plaid, hello spring green! Everywhere we look—catalogs, fashion mags, shop windows, blogs—we're seeing design ideas inspired by greenhouses and gardens. It's a trend that comes around every spring, but this year it really seems to be in full force.
Elements of the look include pale walls, tons of light, lots of plants (of course), and materials like linen, metal, and glass. Things that are especially hot right now? Modern terrariums, wall gardens, and vintage glass vases and bottles. For more greenhouse style inspiration, click here and here.

This is a trend that I absolutely adore, although I've been kind of headed this way for years so it's not really a trend in my mind. My dining area is the closest to the goal with white walls and plenty of plants.
I'm working on a terrarium to expand my rapidly growing house plant collection. It's my first time - we'll see how it goes!

@craftscafeonetsy your plant collection is really beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Spring greens are the most beautiful color! I totally love your photos, all the areas you photographed are so calming and fresh and clean.
I recently painted this painting that would really fit your theme well: http://www.oneofakindmosaics.com/CherryandPlumBlossoms/c122limeandpinkcherryblossompaintinghugeoriginalart.html
