What better day to announce a prediction for kelly green as an in-full-swing trend in design than the first of March? Yummy, rich, kelly green has always been a personal favorite, and I'm ecstatic that I'm starting to notice it pop up in interior design shops more and more lately.
Want to add a bit more of Miss Kelly to your life? See a few of my favorites below, and keep your eyes peeled!

You have a very interesting, very inconsistent definition of kelly green.
The side chair link misconnects to the poster URL>

Ick. Makes me think of idiot college kids drinking bad beer with food coloring in it on St. Patrick's Day.
um yeah...the chairs in the first and fourth pic? closer to FOREST green, not Kelly green. :-P
the Ming chair from Crate&Barrel is really more kelly green in person. Photo isn't quite right.
Kelly green's OK, but look at the Pantone kids' book post photo if you want to see some exciting greens!
Just now predicting that? I predicted it two months ago when I noticed green apparel creeping in to stores. Home fashions often follow apparel fashions. You guys should stroll through mass market stores like Macy's on occasion so you can make your predictions earlier.
P.S. Never mind, the sample page was changed from green to yellow.
I think colors and patterns can be seasonal. Like Nautical stuff is always popular in late winter/early spring because of "resort wear" in the fashion industry. Green, to me, says spring and new growth!
That said, I do see it being used in bolder and broader ways lately. I painted a pair of campaign nightstands "Barnyard green" and I love them! (They are a little yellower than true kelly green.)

Forest, sage, electric green, hunter, and FINALLY Kelly Green. But nice try.
Also, you did this post last year and again a few months ago: http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/green-bedroom-140842

Harsh critiques. It's not easy being green.
Seems like a fun if only temporary pop of color to try!
