One of my current favorite trends in kids' spaces is polka dots. They're fun, classic, and gender neutral. You can use them in a big way or a small way, whether simply on a pillow case or covering an entire wall. There are a ton of different ways to apply them to your kids' walls and furniture, from wallpaper to stickers to removable decals to contact paper, or you can simply freehand them with a little paint. The possibilities are endless! Here are twenty of my favorite polka dot kids' spaces for inspiration:

I love polka dots. They're great for children's rooms, but I love them in 'grown up' decor as well. They always add some whimsy and fun to any space.
I really wish AT would stop displaying photos of garlands draped around babies' cribs. *sigh* It's such an obvious safety hazard. At first, I accepted the "hands off' approach (e.g., "it's not our job to police the safety of the rooms, and besides, how many hazards do we not see?"). But now I actually think it's willful negligence.
Yeah, color me uptight.
Agree with Magoo1, same w/ crib bumpers. AT, be an advocate for responsible design.
anyone know where the polka dot blankets shown in the #12 photo (from cococozy link) are from? thanks!
