Triangles have long been popular in design, from Alexander Calder's mobiles to Konstantin Grcic's Chair One. They seem especially popular lately and we’ve noticed them everywhere from sheets to napkins.
Simple, modern, and sleek, we think they’re a fresh counterpoint to the stripes and nature-inspired patterns of the past few seasons.

Yet another trend I won't be participating in -
- those triangles are just too "1980's Grace Jones MTV video" for me.
I actually like the geometric triangle look. But I'm surprised to see it as a trend watch. My feeling is that it was starting to feel a bit played already. But maybe that just means it's more palatable to more people and is therefore trendy.
It makes me dizzy.
I'm really digging the triangle look lately. One of my favorite bands, Mackintosh Braun, has this whole triangle thing happening right now, too.

I never would have "spotted" this trend, but now that you mention it, you're right! I've seen it everywhere!
Pythagoras will be pleased.
