These days it seems like design trends reach their tipping point at warp speed and have much longer staying time for us to develop a love/hate relationship with them (check out the illuminating comments on this post to see where Apartment Therapy readers stand on trends). As much as you may want to resist them, if you have a recent trend itch that needs scratching then getting your fix with Easter eggs is a fun, tiny, non-committal way.

Howard Butcher Bloc...
Wow, egg dying has come a far cry from the vinegar based dye and plastic cup style from when I was a kid! I especially love the metallic eggs... they remind me of the eggs that the golden goose lays in Willy Wonka :)
Well, my favorites are the first set - the Rothko-esque, neon eggs. In fact - am planning a passover seder (the ancestor of Easter, of course) - and some neon eggs might appear on the table ...
A lot of these ideas are very cute, but I only really want to use the ones that are edible, not the paper mache kind.
I missed the boat this year, I'll have to remember this. Unless there's a good excuse I can use for more Easter egg dying, LOL
