Design: Chelsea Chair
Materials: Oak, Sapele, Love
Pitch: "The Chelsea Chair was a chair I designed and built for a school project, based off of the vibrant lifestyle of Manhattan. focusing specifically on the Chelsea neighborhood because of its crazy arts scene (hundreds of galleries!) and unique youthful culture."
"Taking cues from mid century items as well as different global cultures and modern trends, the chelsea chair was manufactured in pieces that were milled out by a cnc router and assembled, painted, and sanded by hand."

i like the chair, but what does it have to do with manhattan?
That chair is awesome! Destined to be a classic. Great job. I want one, or two.
Well damn. He has my vote. His chair would, too, if the up-dn chair weren't such a brilliant concept. Maybe these two should work together to bring the aesthetic and concept together. Can you imagine that duo? Talk about a potential for incredible furniture.

This chair is spectacular. The lines are just beautiful. It looks like a classic that's been around for 60 years yet is so modern.
Very nice.
