Triangle Patterns

The Suki Cheema collection from yesterday inspired us to look at triangles as a building block for patterns. It's a basic shape that's long been used - in traditional pinwheel quilts, for example. Here are some places where we see the triangle making an appearance in modern design:

1 National Gallery, East Wing by Cesar Lujan, via The Washingtonian
2 Stockholm rug at IKEA, $229
3 These are baby pillows, but who wouldn't love that color and geometry? by Deseta, $80
4 drawing by bluebicicletta on Etsy, $150
5 A tutorial on sewing a simple triangle garland at The Small Object
