An unexpected shape in an unabashed color. Those traits combine in these triangular nesting tables by Councill Furniture and it makes for a pretty eye-popping design.

Now, the price is eye-popping, too, at $3,626 for the set but we have no intention of buying these. Just keeping them in mind for inspiration.

These are constructed of solid maple with a "poppy" lacquer finish. Other colors are available, too, both in equally shocking brights or subdued neutrals.

We love triangular shapes and three-legged stools. We feel that triangle = space saver (think corners) and three-legged = never dealing with uneven legs. (via Crib Candy.)
