I realize this post is not
for everyone, but I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate a 4 foot mounted swordfish into my decor. Let me be clear though — I inherited it. Just like the giant mounted tarantula and mako shark, both of which were also passed down. But since I'm clueless on where to hang it without it looking like, say, a fish out of water, I decided I needed a little inspiration.
So where oh where should my fish hang? Living room, bedroom, bathroom? I can't seem to commit to any of the rooms shown in the gallery above, mainly because I'm not sure I want it to take center stage in a frequently used space (a feat hard to avoid with a trophy fish of this size). Perhaps a transition room such as the the hallway or stairwell?
Or I could just stick with a silly chalk fish, as seen in Jaclyn & Brian's Bright, Bold & Boisterous Home
