Patricia Urquiola has introduced yet another seating series concept! We only recently looked at her Canasta collection for B&B Italia and the new collection, Tropicalia, comes from Moroso. Woven seats and backs on a steel frame is the basic idea — but Urquiola pushes the design with a range of materials and unique woven patterns. Brightly-colored thermoplastic polymer (our favorite, above) make the chair suitable for outdoor use while you'll want to keep the woven leather versions indoors...

This is considered a preview of the collection. The complete series is to include "a chaise lounge, couch, armchair, chair, outdoor bed and swinging nest" according to Moroso.
