Back in the day, those standard issue block sets were top pick at playtime. More recently we've ogled the New York City in a Bag blocks by Muji. But our wooden block love has reached a new height...
We can't get our grubby little paws on them just yet, they've yet to be released to the adoring public. Almost too gorgeous to play with...

Those could be used for a really interesting display piece on a bookshelf, or in a zen style room. Hmmm....wonder what the price is.
WANT! But... this looks fairly DIY. And if you don't have access to the tools, how about $40 for the kid down the street who takes shop class??

They were selling these blocks at Starbuck's for awhile... I am searching the internet as we speak for a better price. I recall them being pretty expensive at that corner coffeeshop.
