Oh, darn ... now I wish I still had standard cable instead of basic!
: )
I really loved this space when I first saw it during AT's Small Cool Contest 4 (?) years ago. Masculine, elegant, clean, and modern, serene . . . .
Too bad HGTV doesn't show ep's on their website like so many other's do for I don't even have cable. :-(
HGTV does. I've seen episodes of rate my space there before.
Angelo is amazing. He has his own line of furniture coming out soon!
I just saw the episode, and Patrick's place looked amazing. The space they created in the episode didn't look like Angelo's best work, even though I usually like him, and it looked like they didn't draw enough of their inspiration from Patrick to suit me.
I had a hard time understanding the color of the window treatment they ended up using, but I did like the way they dealt with the closet doors, cutting the number of mirrored doors down to one, while doing wood on the other three.
Curtis, the window treatment color may have had something to do with the homeowner being red/green (IIRC) colorblind.
But yeah, Patrick's inspiration space was much better put together than the new room. I wasn't all that impressed, either.
Yay for you, Patrick!
