There's no denying that the iPad has changed the computer market. There are testimonials from young and old saying how easy this is to use. It's true that there are still a few places that you can't use your iPad. TuneWear has just released information on a case that will let you use your iPad in the rain, in the pool, and in the bath!
TuneWear's latest waterproof case for the iPad is called the WaterWear. This case will enable you to use your iPad in places that you previously thought of unsafe, like while you're in the pool or while the rain is pouring down on your tablet.
It's true that sometimes it's fun to play with a tablet while you're in water, like in the pool or in the bath. Without a waterproof case, your tablet is basically toast if you drop it into the water. With the WaterWear, you can rest assured that your gadget is safe and sound. The transparent case will not hamper you from using the iPad's touchscreen in any way, since the whole thing is completely waterproof. It comes with an adjustable strap so that you can dangle it from different places.
The WaterWear iPad case is available for $38 from TuneWear, which is based in Japan. Is this case worth it? Well, if you have the habit of taking your iPad near water, then maybe it's a good idea. Otherwise, we'd skip it.

LOL! $38! Apparently the manufacturer of this item hopes some iPad users have way more money than sense.
I use my iPhone and Kindle in the bathtub all the time. I use a special case for this purpose. It's called a heavy-duty Ziplok bag and costs something like twenty cents.
Having mis-sealed more than one ziploc bag in my life, I'm plenty willing to drop a couple bucks on something that has a durable envelope and a good mechanical seal.
But, hey, it's your expensive piece of electronic gear.
Now, I think it's intolerable that we have the technology to waterproof electronic devices, and zero manufacturers actually do it.
@moofie Why water proof something that isn't meant to be used in the bathtub or around water? I never saw any iPad ads with people in a bathtub, sitting on a pool float or swimming with an iPad. Since most people won't use it that way why saddle everyone with the added expensive of something a few will use.
