We love the idea of making a desk for our home office, but sometimes we just can't think of how to actually do it. If we don't have a clear picture in mind we aren't sure where to even start. It's a good thing we came across this extremely easy and seriously sexy desk — because now it's like we have a treasure map and the treasure is an awesome desk.
We saw this IKEA BESTA hack over on IKEA Hackers
today and we were seriously impressed! Obviously we're huge fans of hacking anything to save money and have a unique piece of furniture/equipment in our house — but this is serious business right here.
Using BESTA base cabinets, BESTA Chrome Under frames and a reclaimed wood slab top — Ritch Holben and Ken De Loreto were able to create this one of a kind, stylish desk. This DIY project really couldn't get any easier. Plus, if there aren't any BESTA cabinets in your local IKEA as-is (a great place to save money) this look can be easily achieved with any other cabinet.
