There are many items in large abundance on Craigslist that never find a good home. Ugly '70's chandeliers come to mind, as well as sewing cabinets. This project adds mirrors to the latter and turns it into something as beautiful as it is functional.

Although many would never dream of using a sewing machine cabinet for anything other than its original purpose, Shelly Leer sees the best in things. She can be found over at Mod Home Ec and always has the best projects.

This table once housed a sewing machine, but it's since been glued shut and covered in mirrors. It's a perfect little side table without that super high price tag that such furniture usually carries.
