Each year Cristin has her children write down one word that they want to tackle as the school year progresses. They might want to work on patience or their reading, but Mom makes sure they remember as the days progress by turning their thoughts into adorable wall art.

You can find Cristin at Serendipity where she hand stitched her children's declarations of determination for certain things onto fabric in an embroidery hoop. She added decorative fabric to give them a little extra something.

We think they look great hung in a group and as each child receives a new one each year, they'll someday be a great collection in their own home. Not only will they get to watch their handwriting progress but the ideas that they treasured as goals and values.
