Our Austin colleague/friend over at Apartment Therapy sent us the heads up about this head-scratching product that may either evoke a "I totally need that!" or "why the heck would I need that?" response, depending upon need or perspective. Basically, the Workiture el BagPed is an Apple PowerMac desktop design inspired messenger bag holder.
Available for $199.00, the powder coated finish Workiture el BagPed looks like a small Jonathan Ive designed chair, except this pricey "seat" is designed to simply hold you bag off the floor and under the desk. There's also a small optional shelf option with a soft wold or polyester finish. Personally we think the idea is fine, but the price is far into the realm of ridiculous when considering the utility. What do you think?

Turn off is only because of price. The thing is gorgeous and I use a chair now to do the same thing with my standing desk (more important when there are 3 ft between hands and ground rather than 1ft.).
I agree with NicodemusBC, the idea is brilliant. The price is not. Having my bag on the floor makes me feel unorganized and bit stupid being bent over digging in it.
yea, not sure what this can accomplish that a children's chair can't accomplish... the price point is off
I love it, but not $200 bucks love it.
