Now, let's be honest: how many computer cases do you have lying around at home? Honestly, I have none, but that's because I'm living abroad and all of my stuff is in storage back home. And I confess, I've got at least 2-5 PCs in there, just wasting away.
Now if you've always had Macs, then you'll have some kind of Mac junk lying around. We've seen how to make terrariums from Macs as well as lamps, and now, a clock. This great little mod is pretty easy to do and comes courtesy of Japanese modder Nobon.
He took an old Power Mac G5 case and installed a little clock in there. This is pretty straightforward. All you need is to convert an old clock that you have, take away its face and drill in some new holes onto your old Mac case. It's simple, but we think that it looks great. It almost makes us think that if computer cases were this great looking, we'd have them up and about, instead of tucked away underneath our desks.
Nobon has put together a tutorial, but it's all in Japanese. You can pipe it through Google Translate or just follow common sense.
