This project by reader Jaime of Caught in Grace blog is not only a good idea, it's a great idea for me in particular because, like her, I still have most of my Halloween pumpkins. Instead of throwing them out, why not put them to work in your holiday decor?
Jaime created her version of Frosty the Snowman using four pumpkins and a few odds and ends around the house. How cute is Frosty standing there next to that roaring fire? To check out all the details of how Jaime pulled this off using spray paint and a glue gun, check out her post over at Caught in Grace.

You read my mind. I was just looking at my little pumpkins and wondering how I could incorporate them into a Christmas motif. That or save the seeds to plant in the garden for next year.
I was wanting to do this too! Fantastic re-use of Fall flair.
Sweet! I've been trying to figure out what to do with the pumpkins by our front door. Great idea!
I love the chalkboard fire!! I am so doing that!
I am in love with this idea! I am totally doing this next year!
