We're always looking for fun things from around the home to repurpose into great packaging ideas. If you head to the store, festive holiday bags and boxes can be anywhere from $1-$10 and that's just ridiculous in our book. Instead, try using a home office staple to make these beautiful boxes without any additional cost!

All you need to make the boxes above are these few simple supplies. Would you have believed that they're made from file folders?

File folders are one of those things that you rarely need a large amount of, but are forced to purchase a box of 100 anyway. If that sounds familiar, dig into your storage and pull out the extra ones you have hiding. After some quick cuts and a few folds, you have yourself a box.

Once things are glued up you can leave them as they are or decorate them as you see fit (this would be a great chance to use a stamp if you have one or two laying around!). How simple is that? Plus, you could potentially get away with making a few (sans hot glue) at the office in your down time…not that we'd ever encourage you to craft on the clock!
