The pom pom trend is staying strong. If you're looking to jump on the bandwagon, look no further than your own closet.
That's right - you can make these fabulous pom poms from old t-shirts. Linda over at Craftaholics Anonymous shows how. The supply list is short and sweet - old t-shirts, scissors and some cardboard, We're thinking lots of folks are planning to clean and organize their closets in the new year. If you're finding it hard to let go of that special t-shirt, repurpose it instead and see it everyday. For tons of great photos of step-by-step instructions, check out Craftaholics Anonymous blog.

Ah, yet another project to add to my List Of Things To Do While On Maternity Leave. :P
Love them! Oh Sarah, that list for Maternity leave makes me smile. I had one of those, and guess what? My little bundle kept me so busy none of them got done. Enjoy!
I know what I'm doing tonight!
Gasp! Love this idea. Great way to upcycle old t-shirts. Thank you!
Can they be tossed in the washer/dryer after they're made?
I ended up e-mailing her and asking about laundering them, and this was her reply:
They might be fine in the washing machine if you tighten the holding string really tight. But i probably would not throw them in the washer because I'm not 100% sure they would hold up. And if they fell apart, it would be a big mess in your laundry :( If you want to wash them, I would recommend hand washing them.
