Name: Turner ( 3 years old)
Location: Austin, Texas

When my husband and I found out we were having twins, we knew we needed to transition our two year old son to a big kid bed before their arrival. We didn't have a lot of money to spend on decor or furniture, so we did a bit of eclectic decorating. The room is very small, so we didn't have a ton of room for the design, but it's perfect for a little boy.

Since we were on a tight budget, we decided to reuse an old twin bed frame from our guest bedroom. We had a few vintage travel pieces from my husband's childhood, and used those as inspiration. My husband and I love traveling and hope to inspire our son to do the same. The sock monkey quilt was made by my son's great grandmother and given to him for his second birthday. The red helped to set a color scheme.
