Where do you put the new baby when you live in a 500 square foot home? How about the dinette?

Needless to say this family had to find some other place to have their meals. But now they have a cosy Caribbeanesque nook (complete with shiny chandelier!) for their little girl. They even transformed a china cabinet into an closet of sorts to store their daughter's clothes.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I love it!
i adore this idea. my aunt had a very large house with a small dinette like this above. she used it for her daughters play room. It would have been the perfect space for a new born baby as the master bed was down stairs. Great thinking!
Will this space fit a crib when the time comes? My daughter only stayed in a bassinette for about 3 months...
Loving that bassinet with storage underneath! Our initial solution was a co sleeper made by ArmsReach. We have a small two bedroom with a curious toddler and an older child, so it works best for us to keep the little one in our room. We have since given the co sleeper to a friend, and purchased an Ikea fjellse bed frame for our growing toddler. The twin size fjellse has been altered to trundle under our bed with casters so she will sleep there until big enough to share the other room. And the trundle can still be used later since it fits under the bunk beds in the other bedroom. Perfect for slumber parties.
