Twine is one of those design-minded shops that's not geared towards kids specifically, but almost everything they carry would work well in a child's room. Their aesthetic is bright, colorful, and playful — a mix of vintage finds and contemporary pieces.
Twine is the sister store of New York-based Romp, a former brick-and-mortar kids' store in Brooklyn that's now online only. While Romp is focused on high-quality toys, Twine is more of a decor shop, but they abide by the same philosophy: "simple things, honest materials, made well."
They're online only (althought they do have a studio in Rhinebeck, NY) and their web catalog is clearly organized with all prices labeled and a functional e-retail system. They carry a mix of products — including artwork, accessories, and textiles — which they organize into three main categories: handmade, vintage/reused, and wood/paper. They ship anywhere, including internationally.

Those frasadas are so pretty!
Their sister store, romp, is just for kids and has great items in a range of prices. Some of the small details in my boys' room were found there . . . alphabet magnets, colorful containers for markers and crayons . . .
