Everyone who has an iPod needs an iPod dock. There's no way around this fact. There's always the possibility of putting one together yourself or about connecting your iPod to your stereo system, but it's just easier to have a dock to take care of that. Most of the time, you just plug in your iPod and you're ready to listen to your tunes. That being said, there are thousands of different models on the market. Here we'll show you two of the most recent ones that sparked our interest. Read on to find out more.

The LEGO iPod Dock
This colorful iPod dock is inspired by LEGO bricks and will work with any of Apple's iPods. It's supposed to produce great sound with an active bass system and stereo speakers, which are mounted in a retro looking case. The Building Block iPod Dock is available form UrbanOutfitters for $60. We don't know about the claims about the sound, but it sure looks distinctive. [via GeekAlerts]

The Big Clock Dock
If you're bleary-eyed in the morning, this might be the alarm clock/iPod dock for you. This dock accepts any iPhone or iPhone into its dock. It's not the first dock to combine these features, but it definitely caught our eye. This $90 device comes with 2.75-inch speakers, touch-sensitive controls and it even recharges your MP3 player while you sleep. Other MP3 players can be plugged into it as well. The big clock goes well with the over-sized controls you'll find on the top of the device. The huge numerals of the digital clock will be visible even to people who are far-sighted. Strangely, it's called the GrooveNeo Alarm Clock Radio/Dock and is made by Cygnett.
