It's officially December and holiday preparations at our house have begun. If you're hoping to make some handmade holiday decor this season, check out these two holiday trees you can make this weekend.
The one on the left is a cupcake liner tree we found over at Domestifluff. We really love the full layered look of this tabletop tree Kristen made. She used hundreds of mini cupcake liners, a styrofoam cone form and some straight pins. For her terrific step-by-step instructions check out Domestifluff.
If you're anything like me, you've got a pretty good collection of acorns at your house right now. Put them to good use and make this wonderfully simple acorn we found over at Little House Blog. Lindsay's mom put this little lovely together using a cardboard cone form, a hot glue gun and a jar full of acorns. You can see how she did it over at Little House Blog.
If you do decided to make one or both, please share with us!
