So you have a second bathroom which you'd like to make over for your kids - do you make it especially kid-friendly to appeal to them or keep it more sophisticated to blend in with the rest of your home? These homeowners took different tacks with their kid bathroom design.
Jen and Rob who have two young sons (and whose full house tour you can see on Apartment Therapy Boston) kept it classic with white walls, minimal color and antique nautical prints.
A mom in Atlanta went with a bolder, brighter palette and pop-art accessories for her children's bathroom makeover. It's surely a fun spot for them to be although may need an update as they get older.
As for us, we're just coping with sharing a tiny bathroom with our child so this is not a design dilemma we anticipate having any time soon!

We have but one full bath to share with our four girls and I've let that room be my outlet for bright colors, lots of florals and silliness. It doesn't jive AT ALL with the rest of my home's decor (fairly austere MCM meets colonial), but we all love it.
We have one full bath and there is also a half bathroom off of our children's room. It's so tiny that we haven't done a thing to it - just white walls, a sink, a toilet, and a little shelf for toothbrushes and soap. We've put more care into the rest of the house, but it seems like our bathrooms get almost no decorating attention.
