We just read that designated U-Haul facilities have implemented a Reuse Program. An area like the one above is set aside where customers can donate items they don't need when it comes time to move or clean out their self storage compartment.

Fellow customers and U-Haul employees can take from the donations area, thus putting unwanted items back into a cycle of use. This is a great idea, as it pairs the collection of unwanted items with activities that often generate them: moving and storage. Do you know of a Re-Use Center in your locale?
