Near Venice, Louisiana
Here is my hideway (in progress). You can only get to it by boat. I have been working on it since May and hope to have Thanksgiving dinner there this year.
As a child, my family would jump in the boat to "go across the pass" to visit my grand parents. This is where they lived. Kerosene lamps, propane stove, and a generator powered the camp which was there home. This is the real "simple life".
It is a very peaceful place. I am looking forward to spending some quality time
here with my family. There will be no T.V., no phone, no computer. We will be able to catch fish at our dock and cook them right on the spot. This is something I have been looking forward to for a long time.
I will keep you posted on the progress.
I got a lot of helpful info from your small apartment contest. This camp will only
be 288 square feet on the inside.
Thank you for your help. Tony
