Name: Twirly & J-Lupa Location: The Hamptons, NY Designer: Pacific Yurts, Twirly himself Good Resources: Ikea Martha Stewart Catalog Products (now deceased) Pottery Barn 1800-mattress West Elm Pitch: Welcome to the cheapest house in the Hamptons! We put this up on a platform in the woods each summer next to a friend's house and have a cool, shady little getaway where sleeping in and reading during the day (when not at the beach) are no problem. It was really hot, however, until we figured out to hang a sunblock over the oculus above (you can't see it in the pics but there are also two windows that open on the sides). I am a self-confessed hyper-neatnick, so inside I have designed everything myself to fit into the round shape, allowing for all clothes and sundries to be stored out of site.

Everything is built to clear cedar, including desk, bedframe, side table and shelving. The mod chair is a family heirloom, and I am not sure where it came from. All other things were easy and cheap summer finds: The bed I ordered over the phone on a Friday from 1-800-Mattress and they delivered it at 10pm that night. Tea light lanterns from Ikea, blankets and metal storage boxes from Martha Stewart (alas, no more), Pottery Barn sisal carpets, sheets from West Elm and all paintings are by the lovely J-lupa herself and provide the lovely allusion of sleeping in the great outdoors!. Thanks, Ya'll Twirly
