Skins and cases for your iPods, iPhones and mobile devices are a dime a dozen, but this is the first time that we've seen customizable cases. These cases can be customized thanks to your own photos or designs.
Uncommon Cases uses a proprietary on-demand printing process which allows users to infinitely customize their cases. The image is embedded deep in the plastic, so it won't smear or scratch. You can use artwork, designs, or photographs. If you don't want to use your own stuff, you can choose from a portfolio of 150 different artists and brands already available on the website. If you choose to use your own design and share it through the site, Uncommon will send you a percentage of any sale made with it.
For now, Uncommon is offering ultra-slim protective cases for iPhones, iPod Touches, as well as Blackberry Storm 2 cases. Each of them is $40. Upcoming products include MacBook cases, watch cases, and other blank canvas objects. Also, the company plans on donating 2% of all profits towards the pursuit of the arts and art education. We really like the fact that these cases are so customizable. It's neat to have your own design on your device.

Check out www.infectious.com for something similar but less taxing environmentally. Rather than using plastic cases, they have developed a sticker that does not leave a sticky residue on your phone/car/wall, so you can change it whenever you want. Plus their products are much cheaper, around $15/pc.
(Note: I do not work for the company, am solely a fan. Presently I have designs on 2 computers, 2 ipods, 1 iphone and a Mercedes Station Wagon).
Oh, yes, infectious does custom work as well.
