Efforts to round up entire "Organic Modern" children's rooms have not been fruitful. Has the trend not yet caught on in children's spaces? Is it just so expensive and/or time consuming, as to be prohibitive? Or are parents who are fans of this style going for more whimsy in the nursery? We did, however, catch glimpses of the notion. All of this of course begs the question, "what is Organic Modern, anyway?" It could be a hand-crocheted crib, a simple branch as clothing or curtain, a beautiful rounded natural shape cast in a sleek white resin. Our favorite might be a combination of stark modern and raw, reclaimed wood.
Perhaps the jury's still out on the definition. What does "Organic Modern" mean to you?

To me, a pure definition of Organic Modern would be a style conveyed by organic (or sustainably produced) materials in modern shapes.
A friend of mine and I have been talking about the serene beauty of this style for years and I feel incredibly passionate about its gaining popularity. It just makes so much sense! There is such a need for world citizens to focus our energy now towards a sustainable future, yet as creatives we strive to push development and continue to create and produce. Best to do so in a sustainable and beautiful way.
Organic Modern is currently the most chic and sophisticated way to be eco-friendly in your space, academically as well as aesthetically.
