Re-upholstering furniture is a great way to customize your home, and allows you to reuse old pieces. If you want to take the idea of customization one step further, we've seen some interesting approaches that you definitely won't see in everyone else's home...
- 1) Spruce Home's Constellation Wingback ($2,000) is decorated with individually sewn circles of white felt.
- 2) We love the contrasting edging on this pair of vintage chairs ($500 each) from Fabulous Pieces.
- 3) The Miss Anne Chair (£950.00) from Ghost Furniture is upholstered in a velvet riding jacket.
- 4) Matali Crasset's Edra cushions are made from simple foam stuffing inside reusable shopping bags.
- 5) This sofa from Maison Luxe ($5,500) pairs several beautifully contrasting fabrics.

White Enamel Four-P...
I like #1.
#4 just needs to stop right now.
:)
The first one is beautiful!
#1 is stunningly, and would be pretty easy (if painstakingly slow) to DIY.
Sorry, but #5 is making me cringe! #1 is beautiful, though. I wonder how it would look with little crocheted doilies instead of felt? :)
#1 and #3 are awesome....
I love #1. It's a lovely explosion of dots.
Does anyone else think that the back of #3 looks very unfinished. I love the buttons on the front, but the back strap? wtf?
#5 makes me cringe how the fabric isn't lined up at each edge.
#5 is one-too-many choices of unrelated fabrics - and the workmanship on the seat cushion just isn't there...
#1 & 3 is nice - I guess I'm just a bit more traditional.
I really like #2 - Those are quite beautiful in a way that #4 is not.
