#14 is not a bookshelf. It's a desk organizer. It's still cool though. I actually want one for my desk......
#1 is my favorite as a storage option.
The elephant and bus are supercute but they don't fit enough books for my liking....
The idea that you need a custom-designed bookshelf to make books palatable to children seems a little ... shall we say ... off the wall. Kids are attracted to books because of what's inside their covers (and because of adults in their lives who read to them), not because of what the books are in.
That said, you don't need to justify cute shelves with some kind of educational agenda. That Amsterdam shelf is a gorgeous thing no matter why you want it in your life.
I like both of the trees.
