Universal Eco Speakers: Made Out of Cardboard

When you are on the go, you don't always need the best pair of speakers to share music with your friends. Most of the cheap speakers out there are made out of plastic, and plastic isn't the best green material. That's why we think that these speakers, that are made out of recycled cardboard and therefore ultimately customizable, are perfect for your treks. You can play music without worrying too much about them since they actually fold flat...

These are a pair of eco-friendly speakers dubbed the Universal Eco Speakers and they are available from Urban Outfitters. They are almost completely made out of cardboard, so that means that you can decorate them anyway you want by using the included color pencils. They give off a neat DIY vibe and they don't cost much, so if you ruin them, it's not a big problem. You can attach them to any MP3 player or sound system. They fold up neatly, so they are easy to transport.

We think that these little babies are really great. If you are looking for a great pair of cheap and disposable set of speakers, you should look no further. The fact that they are also made out 70% recycled material is also neat. You'll be keeping your carbon footprint low while you play some tunes. You'll pay about $25 for them at the Urban Outfitters store. [via Designyoutrust, images via Urban Outfitters]
