Just how a good desk is a great contributor to inspiring some of our most creative ideas, a good chair is just as important. Even though I'm a laptop kind of gal and can do my work pretty much anywhere, many others at Unplggd appreciate a good stationary work space. Here's a roundup of home office task chairs from a ball chair to a full-on executive chair to help you figure out which is right for you.

Cozy Cozy ($39): For a small space, the Cozy Cozy chair by Blu Dot is one of our favorite casual work chairs. We love the new padded woven felt covers that lets you give your Cozy Cozy a bit more versatility.

Isokinetics Balance Ball Chair ($65): Dwight Schrute had the right idea to bring a yoga ball to sit on at the office. If you're interested in improving your posture and avoiding back problems, a balance ball chair can do that for you without breaking the bank.

IKEA Glenn Stool ($80): For the more price conscious, the Glenn bar stool by IKEA is one of our favorites. It's affordable, matches with most home decors and the curve fits nicely to the small of your back providing longer hours of comfort and support than your average bar stool.

Dorso Chair (price not listed): Utilizing the quality of brackets, the Dorso chair was built to bend at any required angle, offering extra comfort from the backrest. Although the Dorso initially looks like a fun but stiff wooden chair, the brackets make it a very flexible and comfortable chair.

Alexander Begge Casala Chair ($150): The Casala chair delivers mid-century modern chic at a reasonable price. Made from a single mold, the Casala chair adds a dash of style to a simple work space.

Wrap Office Chair ($200): If you have wooden floors and want something on wheels, the Wrap office chair is one of our favorite affordable and stylish home office chairs (and we absolutely love it in Saffron). It is made of lacquered birch plywood with a wingback silhouette that hugs your body.

Bubble Chartreuse Office Chair ($200): Keeping ergonomics in mind, CB2's Bubble Chartreuse office chair makes sure you keep your body in a natural position while working in a cute lime green chair with a five caster base. The seating is made of chartreuse bonded level creating a good balance between cute and chic.

Eames Molded Plastic Chair ($250): We can't get over the variety of gorgeous colors the Eames molded plastic chair comes in. A chair that proves that good design and style can last a lifetime, and also one of the more affordable pieces from Herman Miller.

SAYL Chair ($400): The SAYL is also another more affordable chair from Herman Miller, but built more for an office chair than the Eames molded plastic chair which could work just as well in a bedroom or dining room. Designed by Yves Behar, the chair was inspired by the suspension of bridges and is completely frameless.

Louis Ghost Armchair ($410): We listed the Louis Ghost Armchair as one of our favorite "works in any room" chair, and it's true. It functions in the bathroom just as much as it does in a home office. Although it's made of plastic, the generously sized seat and large backrest makes it easy to sit in his royal chair and work for hours.

Forest Stool ($650): The kitchen is the most communal room in the house. You can eat, hangout and do your work there, which is when a comfortable bar stool comes in handy. This one is extra chic with an interesting leg design and interchangeable seat cushions for the very style conscious.

Eames Management Chair ($1,839): If you're looking for the ultimate office chair and can afford it, then we'd recommend the Eames Management chair for those who mean serious business. Another Eames favorite, the chair combines an aluminum frame with a sling seat that conforms to the curves of your body. It is lightweight and has a large seating area to provide long hours of comfort while working in the office or at home. Just like many other Eames chairs, there's a wide range of upholsteries to choose from to suit any color palette preference.
