Add one more to the roster here at Unplggd. Writer Sonia Zjawinski comes with a laundry list of credentials and whole lot of enthusiasm about strengthening Unplggd's daily content, and she's starting a one month trial run, posting 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Tell us what you think and give her a warm welcome in the comments...

Sonia started her career writing about gadgets eight years ago as an assistant editor for Wired Magazine. She spent 3+ years at the mag in San Francisco before moving over to the other side of the country to New York. Her first gig in the Big Apple was at the now defunct men's magazine Cargo, and then later at interior design publication, Budget Living. Realizing she was spending more time dreaming about other people's homes than spending any in her own, she quit office life and went freelance...

From home she works as a contributing editor for Wired Magazine, blogs for the Underwire, and occasionally freelances for publications like Money, ReadyMade, and New York. She also runs a charity, I Heart Tripods, which financially aids people facing large vet bills, and spends most of her nights trapping feral cats in Brooklyn in order to spay and or neuter them.

She lives and works in a large studio apartment in Brooklyn with one three-legged dog, two four-legged cats, and one foster kitten who doesn't know how good she has it.
