About six different components, all of them annoying me with their cables. I would love the cable box!
Let's see...I'll go with home theater since it's worse:
TV
VCR
DVD player
Stereo system
cable box (which has built in DVR, which replaced the separate TiVo that now resides in my bedroom)
cable modem
wireless router (apple airport)
apple TV.
eleven!
usb hub, two external hard drives, cable modem, wireless router, airport express, printer, cpu, lcd monitor, laptop charger, speakers
(not all of this is running at the same time, of course)
About five different items. Its a total rat's nest under my desk and I could really use this. Thanks!
i've got my concealer for the desk area, but my entertainment area is a whole other story, though definitely not as dire...i've got the tv, dvd player, receiver, subwoofer, and speakers.
The office is relatively sane with the printer, monitor, and computer...
That home theater however (my poor Dave, he hates cables, he goes nuts trying to make it organized back there!)-
-TV

Our living room/home theater area is pretty terrible.
We have strung along our couch our laptop/camera cord/cell phone chargers (2), lamp and external hard drive - then there's the tv, ipod stereo, dvd players, vhs player and all the surround sound speaker wires - arg! Mix in two dogs and cat to get tangled in the wires and we have a recipe for disaster. It is a miracle we've made it as long as we have without much of an incident.
Count me in - we need a solution to our tangled cord mess!
My home office has 15 things plugged in under the desk at the moment. Sometimes it's even more.
(2) Macs
(1) PC
(2) displays
(1) KVM switch
(1) printer
(1) speaker system
(2) lamps
(1) paper shredder
(4) external hard drives
Office:
VoIP phone system
Router
Cable Modem
External Drives x4
iMac
Monitor
Logitech MX Revolution
Alarm Clock
Ubuntu Media Server
Paper Shredder
Sun Lamp
Drafting Lamp
Speaker System
Scanner
Color Laser Printer
Inkjet Printer
Powered USB Hubs x2
sometimes MacBook and Somtimes Dell Laptop
Lots and lots! Computers, TiVo, PlayStation, Wii, lamps, VCR, DVD, speakers--much more than I'd care to admit! Right now, they are smooshed behind the TV console, but would love to have this box to get everything organized and neat! Thank you for the offer!
Home Theater: 7
Home Office: 8 (occasionally 9)
I have all kinds of crazy things plugged in all over the place. It is crazy
Well let's see.
First of all there is the Sony LCD followed by the DVD Player. Then comes the the Wii and the Shuttle PC to use as a tv computer. Next up is the cable box that really is just a space hogger. Last, but not least, is the old-school video cassette player. Definitely not as much as other people, but I would like to organize these cables with something other than cable ties.
2: The TV and the HTPC :)
It's out of control behind our TV! We came home to find our new kitty tangled in the mess. Unfortunately he hasn't learned his lesson - we need this now!
My home theater hook up is insane! I have my HDTV, HD DVD Player, PS3, Receiver, XBOX 360, and Nintendo Gamecube all hooked up.
My office includes my laptop, flat panel monitor, speakers and lamp.
TV, DVD, VCR, Surround Sound Speakers, Desktop computer, monitor, speakers, printer, keyboard, mouse, Xbox.....
i only hve like 3

Quite a few..I have two powerstrips going behind the tv.
TV
Cable box
DVD player
Stereo system
Home Theater
Wii
I also use those plugs for my hand-held walkie talkies and to charge my digital camera.
In the Office, there are roughly 16 at any given time, and the home theater has 10
I really lost count. I do know it is a big mess. thank you for the contest
Um, I have wii, the projector, cable box, receiver and a too complicated speaker setup including a weird subwoofer with external wiring... cool giveaway, thanks.
Only four, but it's still an eyesore.
Two computers, three monitors, router, modem, printer, phone, TV, and more! I'm sick of the "black spaghetti." Thanks for the chance to win.

Twenty NINE? Are you freaking kidding me?
And that's just the office. I'm thinking I should probably spend the rest of my life doing penance for single handedly creating an electricity shortage in Seattle.
Oh my how I would love this both the computor area and the the tv area are a mess It is imbarrassing to have a neat house and those 2 areas are a mess with all the wires going in 10 thousand directions How did we live before without all the gagdets that we adore
nine pieces of computer equip it needs to be tamed
8
office:
-speakers
-UPS
-computer
-2 Printers
-Scanner
-Monitor
-Router
I am trying to run an accounting business out of the house and the wires are a mess. Thanks for the chance.
It's too scary to look at, with 2 teens and all there stuff plugged in there, but with surround sound, tivo, dvd player and game systems, I'm pretty sure I'd have to take my shoes off to count it!
19 in my office.
I don't have that many components to my home theater yet and still don't have an "office" but here's what I have so far:
TV
all-in-one printer
cable box
wireless router
DVD player
and soon to be subwoofer and Yamaha sound bar
All the wires just hide in the back of my TV stand...not so tidy at all!
8.5
tv, tivo, cable box, wii, game cube, (soon to be PS3), audio receiver, dvd player
Xbox, Receiver, Desktop PC, LCD monitor.
This is my husband's thing- but I see tons of wires all over!
If I count, I'll cry. Please help me cleanse my boyfriend's apartment of crazy medusa cables underfoot!
probably for my home office about 6 or 7.. jeez...thats alot..
i don't think my home office is too bad:
-macbook pro power adapter
-paper shredder
-WD external hard drive
-desk lamp
-iphone dock/charger
but my tv center is a mess just because the wires are all over the place!
-lcd tv
-dvd player
-cable box
-speakers
-ipod cables
-hdmi cables
-wireless router
-internet box thing-a-ma-jig
and pretty soon i was going to add an Apple TV to the mix.

I think I'm at about 7- in my home office which doubles as my bedroom- not a pretty sight!!
Too many. Probably about 8 or 9.
small apt, so:
telephone
tv
signal converter (soon)
dvd
vcr
modem
wii
ipod dock
Plus, I have this on an old midcentury cabinet so I can't cut holes in it to tidy stuff up.
office 6; living room 7
I think it's 8 or 9. I can't even keep track!
that would be 13 on two power strips
Hmm home theater...tv, tivo, wii, stereo, record player, receiver...i think that's it. there's probably someting i'm forgetting.
Six for me.
hmmm...unfortunately I'm hovering around the 20 something number
Too many. In the home theater we have - tv, computer, wii, xbox360, wii charging station, two lights - thats 7 power cords right there, not counting the av hookups and the cable
In the home office there is far too many to count.
This would be so helpful... i just can't seem to get my cords organized.
in my bedroom, six or so at the desk, and in the living room, a rotating group of about 10 things, mostly video game systems, which have two plugs each! wahoo!
11
We have seven items plugged into our home theater set up.
Lets see...Hubby's home office: 12
Our home theatre: 7
Wow! No wonder our power bill is so high!!
How neat!
I have 8
This is great. I would love to replace my cardboard file box from the container store which holds:
2 serge strips
1 coax cable amplified
1 cable modem
2 external hard drives
1 mac mini
1 LCD monitor
1 Speaker
1 Wireless Router
1 Laser Printer
1 Home Phone
1 Digital Photo frame
Several connections on computer side: iMac, Speakers, External HD, Printer, Phone, Lamp and Fan
I have about 8 different cords all clumped together and it looks like a rats nest. This is really great!
let's see....
3 laptops
home computer
tv
home theatre
cable box
dvd
Apple Tv
various and sundry iPhones
digital media readers, etc...
currently using a makeshift white cardboard box in lieu of one of these... fire hazard maybe???
computer
2 monitors
printer
computer speakers and subwoofer
TV
PS3
DVD Player
cellphone charger
ipod charger
digital camera charger
ahh the beauties of having a combined home office and home theater
more than I can count and see?!

I have 4 components.
Too many -- this would really help with all the cords!
I ahve six but wnat to add four more! YIKES
Six components and a window fan!
eight things plugged in, and two bad cats who like to paw at them! I need this sort of protection!
Does that include the surge protector into another surge protector...too many cables to name...at least 8 - 10. Yikes.

Tv
DVD player
3 game systems
2 speakers
Subwoofer
Lamp
In the office I have 10:
2 lamps

internet router
And a completely OCD boyfriend who would just die to have the mess of cords cleaned up and look this beautiful!
tv - dvd - speakers1 - speakers2 - xbox - modem - router
This really is great looking. I'm looking around my office and thinking that I have way too many devices plugged in this outlet. I have the power surge protector, my computer, printer, modem, cable, small stero and speakers and my rechargeable batteries. It's just looking at all of the ugly wires that makes it really bad.

It doesn't sound so bad as a list, but DEAR LORD it's a MESS!
My house is 61 years old and has like AN outlet in each room. So by my desk in my living room, I have 6 plugs into one power strip, and one of those items plugged in a an additional power strip that has 2 more items plugged in it.

cell phone
2 lamps

I have so many. lets see, the laptop, the external monitor, the printer, the usb hub, the desk lamp, the external HD. I'm sure i'm forgetting some. Just way too many.
6 for our entertainment system. With a small house, every bit of clutter stands out. This would help our living room at least.
7 in my office, 6 or 7 for my tv - waaaaay too many!
Thirteen in total for my home office/media center (its the same spot. Limited space, but my PC doubles as my DVR, so I have 1TB just for TV)

just one.
happily mobile at the moment, thank you very much.
Umm... wow i think i have to look under my desk and count. There is the computer, scanner, printer, modem, desk lamp, an extension cord to another part of the room for another lamp and a clock. Yeah...its bad under there.

Fourteen in the home office, according to my husband. Please help me. Please.
modem, printer, cable box, dvd player, tv, stereo = 6
I don't know exactly how many components I have but can someone explain to me why two speakers and one subwoofer require eight cords? Even keeping these under control would be a help.
We have 2 power strips with 10 each, and all our charger cables coiled up, competing for the one empty outlet on the wall.
Home office: 7

I think the Bluelounge CableBox is genius and I would absolutely love to have it so I can become cable organized! Thank you for introducing this products to us and offering this terrific giveaway!
My husband has a maze of wires all over our house

Its a good thing you specified HOME office, because I don't even want to try to think of everything at work since I have 3 computers on my desk right now. Of course, my home office is kindof nuts too with all of my accessories and wall warts to charge things up.
i'm not too bad: tv, vcr, dvd, cable dvr, lamp, dsl, but does that mean i deserve the cablebox less?

We have way too many. I have been trying forever to get my husband to agree to eliminate something but he won't. This could be the solution to making us both happy.
I try to unplug everything once I finish using it, but there can still be a lot going on at the same time! Laptop, USB hardrive, camera charger, phone charger, ipod charger, lamp.

HT Receiver
Integrated amp
Cablebox with DVR
TV
so thats 6 in a power/line conditioner
I try to keep lamp, router, phone and cabld modem in a separate power strip for minimize EFI/RFI. Electronics that draw a lot of power like a Subwoofer also goes to a separate outlet.
I could use this cable box
nine is not a lovely number for cords
We have 9 different elements all working together right now.
Computer, monitor, printer, cable modem, tv, lamp, speakers, other speaker.... and some other cords I can't find the origins of.
