Upwell's Seating Keeps Your Gaming Comfort on the Downlow

San Francisco design company Upwell seems to recognize habitual video gamers need a comfortable spot to get their Call of Duty on, but that there are not many design-friendly options out there (the sight of most gamer chairs usually elicit an immediate shudder). So they designed the Downlow seating solution...

Upwell Design's Downlow chairs are designed with the gamer's slouch in mind, allowing for a low view that brings you closer to the action. We could imagine your mom would not approve ("sit up straight!"). The chairs can be joined together for co-op situations, while also easily separated apart to avoid during-game fisticuffs; the back of the chairs even seem to be designed with the backseat gamer in mind, allowing for your third wheel advisor to lean on the back over your shoulder. And the hollow metal form gives you a place to stow away controllers and the strategy guides you secretly refer to when nobody is around.
